Ian - When I first saw your name as an author on a book I was reading to one of my children I knew that it must be the same person who taught me English many years ago at John Lyon School. Am I correct? Are you one & the same? If so, I always enjoyed your lessons (you were by far the most interesting and memorable teacher!) and, although I didn't take up English as a subject, you had a big influence on me & my interest in reading. I'm glad to see your success. Kind regards, Martin Jones

Hi there. Just wanted to let you know that my five year old adores your books. Though she is only 5, she reads at about a 7 or 8 year old level. Her interest seemed to come when she desperately wanted to read or do if you will the whispering parts of your stories. Once she understood that reading was needed she went full force trying. So just wanted to send you a BIG THANK YOU! for all of the smiles you bring and little brains you encourage! Gabrielle thanks you as well! (thats my daughter of course!) Sincerely, Anne Waldron
P.S. She was very intrigued that you were able to be published sooooo young! Who knows, maybe she will follow in your foot steps. If she does, you will receive the first copy, promise!!!!
